I underwent what could only be described as a philosophic CAT-scan this week. Karlen Evins, my co-host on our Internet broadcast, Beyond Reason, interviewed me! The subject was my new book titled, “A Particle of God”… just released this week.
     Since the book’s publication, I have been a guest on a lot of programs, and more are lined up in the next few months. I have never met, nor do I know, any of the interviewers who have had me on their shows. It is easier for both the host and guest when they do not know one another.
     However, imagine interviewing a person who has been your mentor, best friend and business partner for over two decades. Few could muster the gumption to take on such a task. In my opinion, Karlen pulled it off with integrity, nuance, and taste.
     During the course of the 30-minute conversation, she asks me all kinds of probing questions, with no holds barred, all driven by the plot of the book about an aging local talk show host who loses his job and his identity and wallows in a pit of unrequited fame. He believes he should have been a star. Then he embarks on a supernatural journey of enlightenment.
     I am posting that interview on this site so you can hear what I have to say about such subjects as how muses help creativity, why people stray from the their higher calling, and is the book about me.
